Pernell R. Trent Sr., Pastor

Rev. Pernell Trent Sr. is the pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church of Jennings for the past four years.

He is married to Connie Trent and has 2 sons Ulrich and Pernell Jr. (PJ).

He is the chairman of Minister’s Mutual Aide & Associate Director of Adult Division in the Southwest Missionary Baptist Association under President Herman Arvie.

He is a Shaw University certified Teacher within the Louisiana Home & Foreign Baptist State Convention and teaches a class in the State Congress: “Technology in the Ministry”.

He provides the necessary Computer hardware technology and support for Louisiana Home & Foreign Missions Baptist State Convention under President Samuel Tolbert and provides technical support for the National Baptist Convention under President Thurston.

He owns his own computer company “Power Pro Computers in Lafayette.
